The good news is that we found a place to live. The bad news is that it is even closer to the Alabama border which means a longer drive

We found an apartment complex that fit the size and budget we needed that also allowed pets (though it took my whole Texas trip to pay the pet deposit so I won't get to go see my family this year ). The only two issues for me with the apartments are 1) Its kitchen is electric and I can't cook with an electric stove and oven but my sister Lisa knows how to cook on them so at least she can teach me. Problem 2) is that it is on the second story. Moving in was murder! We have to many heavy things!!

The plus is that it has the needed space and it was in our price range. And for those who know me enough to know I have had paranormal issues at my old home, I don't have to worry about that anymore...just noisy neighbors above.

Speaking of which, my sister and I are convinced the spirits knew we were moving out. The night before the move they were very talkative when I tried to sleep and the day of moving my sisters heard women chatting away while noone was in the house. She heard them when she was outside.

LOL it was also funny to me that her boss yelled at her for going to work. Unlike my mom and I (who work in to office next to her in a sister company) my sister is a part-time worker and she doesn't get PTO. We told her to go to work because she needed the money and that we would handle the move. Her boss found out from my boss that we were moving and started yelling at my sister for coming to work. She offered to pay my sister the rest of the day and the next day so she can stay home and help with the move.

We are pretty much done now...with the exception of a few things. I am so tired physically, emotionally, and mentally....but at least I can relax now. ^_^
